Happy New Year!

It’s certainly a happy one for me. I just finished student teaching before Christmas, and I have completed my Post-baccalaureate program at Bridgewater State College. What’s that mean?

• I’m done with school for now. (Yay!)

• My teaching license moves up to the next level (MA Initial teaching license in Physical Education, 5-12).

• I have a whole lot more free time on my hands.

• The website will undergo some serious updating.

• I need to find a real job. (Yikes! Well, at least I’m highly qualified…)

So, stay tuned for updates, and wish me luck.

Six Kata

I found a few youtube videos of six kata. One appears to be a ‘tournament video’ , one (that with a demonstrator that looks suspiciously like my first instructor Scott Packard) appears to be a training video, and the last someone in their studio. They all appear to be USSD.

I didn't fall in a well…

It only seems that way. Right now I’m working on a ‘Self-Defense’ unit for my student teaching assignment. I’ve received some mail lately – thanks readers! – and based on that I’ve got a few requests:

Sunflower and Iron Fortress blocking – does anybody do these ones?

Also – yes I’m working on putting up more video. Student teaching takes priority now, but early next year it gets moved up on my priority list.

Haven’t had any new combos for a while – please check the ‘Need’ list.

Thanks!
