Shameless Running Shoe Plug!

As you may have noticed, there are Amazon.com ads on the site, and right here there is a blatant plug for their shoe division endless.com. They are having a sale on running shoes (among other things) and shopping there (or at Amazon.com) supports the site, helping to defray the cost of hosting all this super info. Nice grab technique detail.

In this video, Jim Brassard demonstrates a little ‘small joint manipulation’ that I picked up from Professor Kimo. Applying a thumb compression can really get someone’s attention. It’s a nice touch to add into any situation where someone grabs your lapel or some similar clothing grab.

Sorry about the outage.

If you had trouble getting to the site over the last day or two, I apologize. According to my hosting company, the server was overheating and they had to shut it down until they could find the problem. Seems like all is OK now.
