We called this one ‘stand there and chicken’. It seems extraordinary to block and perform four counterstrikes before you take any footwork steps. It also has an ‘aspirational’ neck break at the end mid-snap mare throw. However, stay to the end of the video because Chris Hatch had an epiphany that definitely upgraded this combination in my eyes.

Interesting….you can make that neck break work if you bury his head into your center as he comes over from the takedown and pull up as his weight comes past your shoulder. Keep up the good work..Love it.
Thank you! This was an interesting one. I like the flow, I like a snap mare, but I can’t realistically consider standing there while responding to an attack. Good points on the neck break though.
