#1 Kata –
1) Start in front position
2) Perform right foot out on elbows
3) Left leg front ball kick and step down forward into a fighting stance
4) Right front two knuckle punch
5) Right leg front ball kick and step down forward into a fighting stance
6) Left front two knuckle punch
7) Hands back in elbow position
8) Pivot on the right leg 135o to the left
9) Pull into a cat stance with the right leg back
10) Step into a forward leaning stance with a high x-block
11) Move into a backwards leaning stance with a #8 block
12) Move into a forward leaning stance with a right front two knuckle punch to the groin
13) Pivot off of the right leg 90o to the right and bring the left leg into the right leg and the hands into a right cup and saucer.
14) Step out with the left leg and x-block down
15) Open the hands (to grab the attacker’s leg)
16) Bring the left leg into the right and bring the arms up to shoulder height while pivoting 45o to the right
17) Step out with the left leg and throw the attackers leg to the left
18) Bring the arms around to the right and down into a T in front of the body in a horse stance
19) Pivot 90o off the left leg moving forward into a horse stance
20) Double knife hand block in front of the body
21) Press the left hand into the right hand
22) Spear hand strike to the throat towards the right side of the body with the right hand
23) Bring the left leg into the right into a cat stance while pivoting 90o to the left
24) Palm block down with the right hand in front of the body
25) Step forward with the left into a fighting stance and palm heel strike with the left hand
26) Right front ball kick and step down forward
27) Pivot 180o and pull the left leg into a cat stance while performing a corkscrew punch with the left arm
28) Bring the right leg into the left and put the hands in a left cup and saucer
29) Simultaneous right side heel thrust kick and right back fist strike stepping down into a horse stance
30) Bring the left leg into the right and put the hands in a right cup and saucer
31) Simultaneous left side heel thrust kick and left back fist strike stepping down into a horse stance
32) X-block high and then back into elbow position
33) Right leg into the left and front position and bow
34) You’re done!
