71 – As opponent attacks, right foot steps in toward 1:30 o’clock, pivot into left half moon stance facing 9 o’clock, execute simultaneous left parry block and right hammer strike to biceps. Right hand grabs wrist and execute right whipping backfist to temple. Continue circular motion and execute right elbow break. Right arm deflects opponent’s arm to groin. Execute right tiger’s mouth to throat as right leg flamingos. Right leg side blade kick to knee. Left downward palm strike to top of head followed by fingers attacking pressure points in eyes. Left foot steps back to horse stance facing 9 o’clock and throw opponent to ground. 72 – As opponent attacks, right foot half moons forward into right half moon stance, execute double block (right palm then left knife hand) and right hand executing inverted willow palm to temple. Left hand wraps under executing an arm lock. Right foot steps back dragging opponent to ground while delivering right downward palm between shoulder blades. 73 – As opponent attacks, execute left knife hand block of opponent’s punch and grab as right foot steps forward executing right poison thumb strike to biceps. Lift arm over head and execute right rear elbow to opponent’s floating rib. Right hand then tiger’s claw strikes opponent’s groin and grab. Finish with right reverse hip throw. 73 – Right leg steps to 1:00 with double outward inverted spears to the head (as in nengli) the left hand circles backwards into a ridge hand to the groin (shift weight by bringing in the back leg and sinking slightly). The right leg steps behind uke and drop to your knee with an upward right ridge hand to the groin area and hook the leg at the hip joint. Roll backwards taking uke with you as you come up you should be on top of uke with the right hand hook on uke’s right shoulder with uke’s right leg braced on your right shoulder and your right knee planted on uke’s inner thigh. 74 – Left leg steps to 10:00 with double extended open hand blocks (1&2) extending towards the eyes. The right hand circles cw into a ridge hand strike to the groin. The right leg steps to 11:00 then the left leg steps ccw into a left half moon stance perpendicular to the attacker with a reverse knife to the ribs followed by a ridge hand strike to the plexus. The right leg slides back to 12:00 with a left rising ridge between the legs or a honsuki fist. Continue the upwards motion into a left dropping hammerfist strike to the kidney or small intestine 26 or 27 ( the same point some people use in 15 to bend the uke). 74 – As opponent attacks, right foot steps towards 10:30 into right twist stance, execute simultaneous right tiger’s mouth to wrist and left palm to elbow as a deflection. Execute right palm strike to temple while twisting into horse stance facing 9 o’clock. Execute left spinning hook kick to solar plexus placing foot behind opponent’s right leg. As foot lands execute simultaneous left tiger’s claw to face and right tiger’s claw to groin. Right hand executes upward palm to chin as left hand returns to ready position. Then execute simultaneous downward tiger’s palm rake of face with left palm to temple as right hand finishes at opponent’s wrist, pinning arm to chest. Left hand covers eyes and executes right shuto to solar plexus. Optional grab of opponent with right hand. Left foot steps toward 1:30 execute right hook kick so opponent’s solar plexus followed by left leg finishing in a right half moon stance facing 9 o’clock. Execute left front heel kick to opponent’s ribs landing in a horse stance facing 12 o’clock straddling opponent. Execute cross scissors strike to throat. 75 – As opponent attacks, simultaneously step forward with left foot dropping right knee to the ground and execute simultaneous open handed #6 block and right ridge hand to groin. Execute simultaneous left inverted palm strike to ribs and right scoop to ankle, taking opponent to the ground. As opponent drops to ground double tiger’s mouth trap on ankle and execute right front thrust kick to groin followed by right axe kick to solar plexus. Right foot lands on right side of opponent and pivot counterclockwise into modified half moon stance facing 6 o’clock. Execute left axe kick to groin. 76 – As opponent attacks, assume left twist stance and execute simultaneous left knife hand block and right inverted eagle’s talon to throat. Right foot steps into horse stance facing 9 o’clock, execute right roundhouse elbow to temple. Right arm wraps over opponent’s right arm as left foot steps into horse stance facing 6 o’clock. Execute right rear elbow to solar plexus followed by right rear rising elbow to chin. Left arm wraps head into head lock as right foot steps towards 3 o’clock. Execute right glancing circular tiger’s claw to groin. In a circular motion and execute double tiger palm (right then left) to temple finishing with simultaneous left tiger’s claw to face and right tiger’s claw to groin. Right upward palm to chin (left hand returning to strike ready position) followed by right dropping tiger’s claw to face. Execute left forearm strike to back of neck, then head lock opponent, as left foot steps into horse stance facing 6 o’clock. Execute right tiger’s claw to face. Left back kick to opponent’s left leg (or optional scoop kick to groin) with left foot stepping towards 7:30. 79 – Left foot forward fighting stance, hands on guard. Step in left with a dropping cross block. 80 – (Drunken Monk) As opponent attacks, fade back and left (without moving feet), execute left palm block parrying punch to the right. Parry punch with right palm check to the left and execute right chicken wrist to the temple with left hand going to opponent’s wrist. Right foot steps behind opponent as left hand grabs (under the arm) opponent’s right shoulder and right hand wraps around opponent’s waist, execute reverse hip throw. As opponent lands, drop to right knee and execute right downward elbow to chest cavity.
