kempoinfo.com

There is a post up on Martialtalk that lists the forms and rank requirements for Nick Cerio’s Kenpo. I thought it would be useful information now that the organization is for all intents and purposes defunct.

I was checking out the old version of my site (which is still up, but not updated), and realized that I started the technique archive six years ago. I had been writing articles for a few years before that, but it was slow going as I was hand coding the html. I remember the days – although the internet wayback machine can only find the site back to 2004. I’m glad to see how far it has come, but I’m also a bit disappointed that a.) it’s for the most part the only one, and b.) nobody has come along and ‘outdone’ me. Still pluggin’ away.

Jesse Dwire has a seminar coming up with two interesting instructors. I’ve worked with Rudy Duncan many times, and he’s great. I have not worked with Sifu Hammond, but if you are a kempo practitioner who uses animal techniques, this will give you some great ideas. Click on the thumbnail for the larger version of the poster and get in touch with Shihan Dwire to reserve a space. I’m trying to clear my weekend now! Hope to see you there.
