I feel like I posted this one before, but I guess not. Here’s a clip of Fred Villari teaching dragon concepts at a seminar. I don’t think it’s terribly recent, but it does show some clear footage of GM Villari working.

This gentleman is a prolific poster on many of the MA boards, and I’ve usually seen him commenting on EPAK topics. I found his analysis of combination 3 interesting, as I find myself frequently troubleshooting combinations. I don’t necessarily agree with his version of 3 as being a good representation of a typical SKK implementation, but I do like his thought process on it. One danger of this process is that by the time you have ‘troubleshot’ the problems out, you’ve just ended up at an entirely new technique. If you replace all of the planks in the boat, it’s not the same boat any more.
I found that there were a few more videos I could link to combinations so 13, 16, 44, 50 and 68 are linked. I may see about trimming some ‘compilation’ videos I have kicking around into separate combination clips, but that will take some time.
By the way – can you believe that kempoinfo.com has had its own domain for about five years now? Can you believe that it’s been almost seven years since this project first started?
