It’s time for a revamp.

Hi folks –  you may find that the videos (especially the older ones) may be uncooperative for a bit. It seems that my video host has migrated from an unlimited plan to a teeny-tiny bandwidth plan recently. I will be re-hosting the videos and updating the links shortly. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Side note: Fellow martial artist Jason Brick has a flash fiction kickstarter

Jason Brick is a fiction writer and martial artist. He’s undergoing a particularly entertaining fundraising activity  / bender for his kickstarter. See his page for the details, but it’s pretty amusing. It may or may not include him drinking beer.

Jean-Guy Angell demonstration from 1975

Cory Avery has put up many YouTube! videos of older Kempo (Kenpo) forms from Jean-Guy Angell’s lineage. Jean-Guy Angell was a Shorin Ryu practitioner who began training with SGM George Pesare in 1967. This clip is a video from 1975 showing some of the forms and a demonstration at a stadium. It’s a bit grainy, but that’s what you might expect from some footage that’s over 40 years old. Keep in mind that this is someone who never trained with Fred Villari.
