Contributor (and friend) Marlon Wilson along with his instructor the very talented Tom Ingargiola has written a book about Shaolin Kempo. Give it a read. It’s a steal as a Kindle book, but I ordered the physical copy (OK to be honest I ordered both) so I could make Marlon autograph it next time I see him. I think it gives a great overview of the system and the thinking behind it.
