I’ve become a cranky old man.

 I think as of late, some of the organizations have really been rewriting history to suit their own interests. It should surprise nobody who has been to this site that I’ve put in quite a bit of work to trying to nail down an accurate history of the kempo, mainly Shaolin Kempo  / Karazenpo Goshinjutsu and its offshoots, but I feel like there are many obvious questions that haven’t been answered by folks who were supposedly there and active since the beginning. All of the content is searchable.

While testing the site, I found that the search function only included the posts. I found a plug-in that makes everything searchable – posts, pages, etc. Try it out. Search and find your favorite articles – not a lot of traffic there yet.

Kids Programs – and good press opportunities

A black belt through the school where I teach  is teaching a kids program out of the local community center. She’s been teaching a kid’s program and a women’s kempo program out of Cape Cod Martial Arts Academy, but has branched out to an independent program. Do you teach kids? What is important for a kids program for you? By the way, for those of you starting a school, never underestimate the power of asking the folks at the local paper, “would you be interested in coming by”?
