Knife vs. Candy Cane. Candy Cane FTW!

I guess it’s like an unlikely form of ‘rock-paper-scissors’.

Proving the power of the Christmas Spirit, a person takes up a plastic candy cane from the front yard to defeat a knife wielding attacker. I don’t know if this will lead to plastic candy cane regulation or how this will affect your ability to bring plastic candy canes on airplanes, but hey, it’s nice to see the good guys win now and then.

Edit: Apparently they also fight germs. Is there nothing that candy canes can’t do?!?!

We’ve entered a new era

The sharing floodgates have really come open. Today’s video is from my old friend Marlon Wilson, from Montreal Canada. He covers a lot of ground (3,10,11,19,20,36,47,49), and for those who pay close attention to the end, covers Master Dwire’s favorite combination in great detail.

Thanks so much Marlon – your movement and technique continues to improve every time I see you.

Eight Point Blocking System Video

Andy Henson of Lynchburg Kempo has posted some nice videos on Youtube, and one of them is the eight point blocking system. I’ve embedded it here and on the eight point page for convenience. Thanks for sharing, and I’m excited about the direction you’ve taken your training.
