More Northern Tigers

I didn’t even notice, but I actually have the DVD where Matt Thomas does the Northern (and Southern) Tigers form. We don’t do those ones at our school, so I didn’t recognize it off the bat. I haven’t posted video yet, as I don’t have permission from Mr. Thomas to post his video, but he does sell the videos rather cheaply on e-bay (and at his site) if anyone’s interested in footage from 1st to 8th dan. If you don’t mind rough edits and ‘camera on a tripod in the back yard’ quality, the price per quantity isn’t too bad. At some point, I may just learn the forms long enough to get them online. If there’s anyone who already does them, please send in video.

    Hey Matt,
SO I bought MR. Thomass’ DVDs white to 1st then 1st-3rd but I wanted to get the rest but it seems he has dropped of the face of the earth. I can’t find his website anymore and he’s not posting on ebay, any help with this would be appreciated. Thank you.

Travis – I had the 1st-3rd discs too (although I got them so long ago I think they were VHS), but yes he has apparently dropped off the face of Kempo. I emailed him to no avail a couple years back.

I purchased all his shaolin kempo dvds when they were available. He re-did some of the earlier ones including more angles which made it easier to learn the forms. They have been a great help to me. At one time, he said he was putting his own kempo system together on dvd. When I emailed him about the progress, he said he wasn’t doing it. I’m not sure what happened for him to abandon this project. He sais he was trained in styles other than kempo. His kempo dvds seem to be totally off the market which is a shame.
