Two Kata

#2 Kata –

1) Start in front position

2) Perform right foot out on elbows

3) Half moon back with the right leg

4) Palm block down with the left hand followed by a chicken wrist strike upwards with the left hand

5) Half moon back with the left leg

6) Palm block down with the right hand followed by a chicken wrist strike upwards with the right hand

7) Front ball kick with the left leg

8) Step down in front and turn 135o to the right and pull the right leg into a cat stance.

9) Look to the right, then straight ahead, and to the left with the hands following in tiger position

10) Perform a side thrust kick straight ahead

11) Pivot 90o to the left and step down into a horse stance

12) Pivot off of the left leg 180o to the rear and do a ridge hand block with the left hand

13) Spear hand poke to the throat with the left hand

14) Pivot off of the left leg 180o to the front and do a knife hand strike to the neck with the right hand

15) Turn 180o to the left and pull the left leg into a cat stance while doing a downwards palm block with the right hand

16) Step forward with the left leg into a half moon stance and do a palm strike with the left hand

17) Front ball kick with the right leg

18) Step down forward with the right leg, and then pivot 90o to the left into a horse stance

19) Pull the left leg into the right and put the hands into a right side cup and saucer

20) Step forward with the left leg into a half moon stance

21) #2 block with a right hand front-two knuckle strike

22) Right leg steps into the left and the hands go into a left cup and saucer

23) Step forward with the right leg into a half moon stance

24) #1 block with a left hand front-two knuckle strike

25) Right leg steps back to the left and hands are in a right cup and saucer

26) Right leg back kick, followed by a right leg side thrust kick to the side

27) Step down into a horse stance

28) Pivot 90o to the left and pull the left leg into a cat stance

29) Pivot 90o to the left, off of the left leg into a horse stance while sweeping the attackers leg with the left hand

30) Bright the attacker’s leg into the chest and perform a dropping reverse thrust punch down their body

31) Step in and perform right foot out on elbows

32) Bow and you’re done!
