Four Pinan

#4 Pinion – 

1) Bow and step out with the right leg. 

2) Roll the fists downward in the circular motion. 

3) Pull the arms back into elbow position. 

4) Push the arms out in thrust punches. 

5) Turn the head to the left while extending the left open hand to the left and bringing the right open hand palms towards your stomach. 

6) Pull into a left cat stance and circle the hands (keeping them open) counter-clockwise into a T. 

7) Step down from the cat stance and turn the head to the right while extending the right open hand to the right and bringing the left open hand palms towards your stomach. 

8) Pull into a right cat stance and circle the hands (keeping them open) clockwise into a T. 

9) Right leg into the left, and hands into a right cup and saucer. 

10) Step forward with the left and perform a left over right downward X block. 

11) Step forward to the right 45 with a #`1 block and a front two knuckle with the left hand. 

12) Right leg into the left, and hands into a right cup and saucer. 

13) To the back left 45, simultaneous side thrust kick and back fist. 

14) Step down towards the back 45, catching the attacker’s head with the left hand and perform a right roundhouse elbow strike to the attacker’s head. 

15) Right leg into the left, and hands into a left cup and saucer. 

16) To the back right 45, simultaneous side thrust kick and back fist. 

17) Step down towards the back 45, catching the attacker’s head with the right hand and perform a left roundhouse elbow strike to the attacker’s head. 

18) Pivot to the left 180o with an open handed six block and a right ridge hand to the attacker’s groin. 

19) Both hand circle to the outside and capture the attacker’s head. 

20) Pull the head down while doing a rising knee that turns into a front ball kick. 

21) Step down forward and pivot 90o to the left. 

22) Twist step with the left moving behind the right while performing a #1 block and a left front two knuckle strike in the direction of the step. 

23) Twist out 180o to the left and step back with the right leg, and then draw back into a left cat stance with both hands up in tigers. 

24) Outside circle with the hands and grab the attacker’s arms and draw them into a left front ball kick. 

25) Step down with the left and hit them with a left front two knuckle and then a right front two knuckle. 

26) Half moon in with the right foot until the feet are together and then step out with the right leg 90o to the right. Do this while keeping the hands up and open in tigers. 

27) Draw back into a right cat stance. 

28) Outside circle with the hands and grab the attacker’s arms and draw them into a right front ball kick. 

29) Step down with the right and hit them with a right front two knuckle and then a left front two knuckle. 

30) Step forward (to the left 45) with the left leg (keeping the hands up in tigers), and then pull into a left cat stance. 

31) Circle the tiger hands in a counter-clockwise motion. 

32) Twist the legs, striking with the right tiger claw. 

33) Step forward with the right leg (keeping the hands up in tigers), and then pull into a right cat stance. 

34) Circle the tiger hands in a counter-clockwise motion. 

35) Twist the legs, striking with the left tiger claw. 

36) Step forward with the left leg (keeping the hands up in tigers), and then pull into a left cat stance. 

37) Circle the tiger hands in a counter-clockwise motion. 

38) Twist the legs, striking with the right tiger claw. 

39) Outside circle with the hands and grab the attacker’s head. 

40) Draw the attacker into a right rising knee. 

41) Step down with the right and pivot 180o to the left (keeping the hands up in tigers). 

42) Pull into a left cat stance. 

43) Circle the tiger hands in a counter-clockwise motion. 

44) Twist the legs, striking with the right tiger claw. 

45) Step forward with the right leg (keeping the hands up in tigers), and then pull into a right cat stance. 

46) Circle the tiger hands in a counter-clockwise motion. 

47) Twist the legs, striking with the left tiger claw. 

48) Step out with the right leg and perform the ending salutation exactly like the beginning.
