It&#8217;s not the greatest footage, as the camera angle makes it look like I&#8217;m leaning forward, but this will make a good companion video to the one from youtube with Nick Cerio guiding a student through the form. <p>Here&#8217;s an example of a technique he posted to give a good example of a kempo technique. Note the emphasis on uprooting your opponent. As one former instructor told me, &#8220;it should be like being in a washing machine&#8221;<br />

We don&#8217;t do those ones at our school, so I didn&#8217;t recognize it off the bat. I haven&#8217;t posted video yet, as I don&#8217;t have permission from Mr. Thomas to post his video, but he does sell the videos rather cheaply on e-bay (and <a href="http://www.shaolinkempodvds.com/index.html">at his site</a>) if anyone&#8217;s interested in footage from 1st to 8th dan. If you don&#8217;t mind rough edits and &#8216;camera on a tripod in the back yard&#8217; quality, the price per quantity isn&#8217;t too bad. At some point, I may just learn the forms long enough to get them online. If there&#8217;s anyone who already does them, please send in video. </p>
