We now have a page for the numbered kempos (numbered according to Bob) of Bob Fritz. He’s an instructor with Dragon-Phoenix Martial Arts and was kind enough to pass along his notes where he wrote down an astounding number of techniques. Today’s share is the numbered techniques from 11-20.

The next batch is up, this time starting with his first ten numbered kempos. Again, Robert Fritz is an instructor with Dragon-Phoenix Martial Arts in Chelmsford who had the good sense to write down just about every technique he’s ever learned. Thanks Again! Stay tuned – more are on their way.

It wasn’t used very much, so I didn’t even notice it was broken. If you would like to add events, send me the info through the contact form or email me. If you are going to add a lot of events, contact me and I’ll set you up with a subscriber id so you can add them yourself directly.

I’ll try to put up any events I’m aware of so it will actually be useful. The calendar page is here.

I installed a new plug-in for photo galleries. It seems to work now (the last one was uncooperative). I put up a bunch of photos in the gallery spanning a variety of events. Feel free to take a look at the new and improved photo album. If you have anything you want to see in there, send it my way.

A Treasure Trove: The Bob Fritz Collection

I wasn’t sure how to put this one up. I’ve had it for a while, but given how enormous the contribution was, I wasn’t sure how to handle it. Robert Fritz is an instructor at Dragon-Phoenix Martial Arts in Chelmsford. While we all endeavor to keep note books (right? I know you do…), sometimes we aren’t as comprehensive as we could be. That’s why it’s great when someone has the discipline to write down every kempo technique (and some animals) they learn. Mr. Fritz sent me a copy, and with his permission, I’m sharing it with you. It’s huge, so he gets his own section of the ‘kempos’ part of the archive. There are naturally some repeats with already published items, but I want to preserve the integrity of the collection as much as possible. First up is the collection he organized by letter. More to follow (on a regular basis). Thanks Bob!

Dragon-Phoenix Martial Arts

Jesse Dwire is hosting a weekend workout featuring Hanshi Vincent Anthony. From all descriptions I’ve received this should be a very interesting weekend of pretty hard core training. I will be there, and I’m looking forward to it.
For those that are interested, I have a link to the poster (which also doubles as a registration form).
The price is right, and it promises to be a weekend of high level training. I’m sure Jesse can add more information in the comments section.
